You might wonder at first, “What the heck is that”? I did.
It says ‘BOSCH’ on it, but I new right away it wasn’t a dishwasher.
It’s fairly high up a pole on the float plane dock in Ganges.
And by the time I wandered around the pole looking up at all the bits, I was sure there were lots of nice pictures of me somewhere. (I wonder where I can get a few copies?)
And some more pictures of me taking pictures of this picture-taking thingy.
And then I thought it might be a new high tech web cam, but there’s already a Nav Canada one at the Coast Guard station. (here)
So, really, I’m still wondering.
Carol says
Does it look like surveillance cameras? The right hand one clearly shows a lens?
John Cameron says
Three lenses in fact.
Gayle says
Is it new? Maybe Harbour Air owns it as a way to keep track of flights arrivals/departures.
John Cameron says
It is new. And that’s why it caught my eye.
Harbour Air? Maybe.
Marilyn says
Actually, the Harbour Authority of SSI got tired of boaters ripping them off, so they’ve now installed cameras on all their docks.
John Cameron says
Well, there you go. And wow, must be serious cash for that setup!
