Man scooters by an unusual Salt Spring sight
This customized International 7300, visiting from Oregon, was carefully not parked downtown during the long weekend. Good plan.
The vehicle was produced from 2004 to 2008, is a diesel 4×4 and weighs twice as much as the original giant Hummer.
I like the colour.

Thursday’s Lamborghini is just beginning to look more and more sensible, isn’t it?
John Cameron says
Yes, perhaps or maybe the other International truck outside Natureworks!
On the other hand, the scooter’s looking good too…

Brilliant juxtaposition!
John Cameron says
Thank you.
I saw the scooter guy coming and it was just a matter of waiting until he entered the frame*. I figured he be giving the truck the eye as he went by.
*The Leica ‘s viewfinder has a white rectangular frame line showing what the lens will capture and space outside the frame line to help you decide on the best moment to press the shutter button.

What makes it even better (for me) is that the guy on the scooter is Mr. Organic Gardener extraordinaire at The Harbour House whose name currently escapes me, but I was trying to see the expression on his face and I couldn’t but I thought it might be disdain.
John Cameron says
HaHa, that’s perfect!
