Salt Spring Photos, a daily photo of Salt Spring Island will be taking it’s first ever holiday. I’l be back January 5th with the next photo of the day. My logo will act as place holder until then.

The logo is symbolic of the traditional photographer’s cropping L’s (two pieces cardboard, each shaped like a capital ‘L’). The area inside the cropping arms represents the cropped photo or illustration.

The logo also represents my initials. The right hand L forms the letter “J”. The left hand L, together with my web address, forms the “C”.

This Salt Spring Island photo of the day is a project by John Cameron, photographer.
