Despite the fairly modest population there’s a lot of soccer going on Salt Spring Island; thanks in part to the grass roots organization that starts with the U4 group.

Your comment is right on. It’s easy to see they are “going for it”. Something kids need to learn to do, and not just in sports.
It’s always great to see an image that freezes a split second in time captures what the eye does not see.
I love the look of sheer determination on the boys’ faces AND the fact that the guy on the right is totally off of the ground. Perfect action shot! They are both putting in all of their effort. I bet they would get a kick out of seeing this! And no pun intended, really.
Another “right-on” comment. Thanks for visiting Rachel. Strangely enough the local (weekly) paper didn’t have room to run this shot. Too bad. It’s not often you see this level of focus and skill in kids this young.
