Reg has become a familiar face in Ganges, a Salt Spring entrepreneur. When he arrived on the island in early winter, construction jobs were tough to find. Reg started cleaning up the Ganges core on a ‘by donation’ basis. Lately he’s placed some small white garbage cans in high traffic areas and is currently adding an attached container for can and bottle recycle.
Reg is a self proclaimed minimalist and tells me he makes a living at this enterprise.

What a cool story! I love it when people think outside of the box to make jobs for themselves AND help the community. Really neat! I hope that your story will spread further than England. This is the kind of ingenuity that is needed everywhere.
