I came upon this odd phenomenon on the roof of the Burgoyne United Church while travelling the Fulford-Ganges superhighway on the weekend. It seems the early morning frost melted everywhere except within the chimney shadow. Strange but true, no photo editing chicanery here folks.
Neat! And the “superhighway” note gave me a chuckle.
I find I sometimes see interesting or unusual things in my travels, but just don’t take the time to stop. That morning I had lots of time, there was no traffic on the road…so I did stop. Not exactly something that’s easily repeated; I haven’t see it before.
