The beginnings of a snowfall on Salt Spring on Christmas day.
OK, perhaps it didn’t compare to the snow of 1996 or even 2008, but it was enough for the plow to come by our place. Made for a wonderful day and qualifies, in my book, as a white Christmas.

The best chance of snow (that sticks around for awhile) on Salt Spring Island seems to be in the first two weeks of January. Fingers crossed that we’ll see scenes like this in the coming weeks.
All the best to you and yours during the holidays!

The Old Salty Store windows continue to do their best long after the store is closed for the night.

Just another day in downtown Ganges.
