Wandering around in downtown Ganges, I came upon this seemingly powerful plant. This is the back roof of the funky little Café Talia on Herford Street.

That’s Larry Lindell at 5:20 am on a foggy morning on the north end of Salt Spring Island. Larry’s a photographer from West Des Moines, Iowa. Things at home are wider, flatter and not as foggy or salty.

It must be a sunny Saturday because market tents are visible and there are people all over the grass and playground in Centennial Park.
There’s a decent SE breeze coming straight into the harbour. You can see a flag on the anchored tug flapping.

The Thrifty Foods wall in downtown Ganges gets a spring makeover. Opportunities for exterior painting have been limited on Salt Spring—hopefully June will be different.
