Came across this aerial shot we did just after the huge Salt Spring Village Resort fire back in 2007. Drove by yesterday and it still seems to look just like this.

Glorious Winter Sunrise on Salt Spring Island
Cold, clear winter sunrise on Salt Spring Island. We’re looking out Ganges Harbour over the Sister Islands, Prevost and the Gulf Islands to Mount Baker and the Olympic mountains.
Cool Ganges Condo
Someone’s up early this morning at the Bayside condominiums at the head of Ganges Harbour. Probably hoping for another spectacular winter sunrise! Can you imagine living here, walking into town or hopping a float plane to downtown Vancouver? Nice life! By the way, this condo’s for sale.
Salt Spring Air Force Snowbirds
There’s the Salt Spring Air Force Snowbird acrobatic team flying over a pair of trimarans anchored at the head of Ganges Harbour.
Saltspring to the Olympic Mountains
There were few clear days in December and January, arguably the best times to view Salt Spring and the Gulf Islands. February has really pulled up its socks and we’ve had several days to enjoy spectacular island views.
