Captured, but Standing Tall

November 10, 2013

a leaf captured, but still on display

Sunday Special

Leaves on a few trees in the garden are stubbornly refusing to fall. And some of those that have been blown off are not going without a fight. This one is captured between the boards on our deck. The horizontal lines behind are the siding boards on the house.

Thanks! It’s about time to start a few theme projects. I’m thinking about ‘captured’ possibly. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s photo of the day.

Beautiful photo as usual, but the first thing that came to my mind was sad state of our country. This sinking and stuck red maple leaf seems emblematic of our national condition. Easy to see where my subconscious lives!

Thank you for the fantastic photos. I look forward to powering up the computer every morning because of them.
