Warming up for the first flight of the day, a Salt Spring Air floatplane becomes part of this spectacular west coast scene.

GISS dance students polish their end-of-semester performance during yesterday’s non-stop technical rehearsal. The show is at ArtSpring January 9th and 10th at 7:30.

Gerda Lattey is a Salt Spring sculptor. You may have noticed some of her work between Mahon Hall and the School Board Office.
We recently got together to photograph more of her work. We shot four views of this first one, Solo. It’s about 30 inches tall and constructed from Granite with a Basalt base.


A quiet January sunrise in Ganges Harbour.

The year’s first sunrise lit up the frost on the CyPeck wheelhouse. This replica wheelhouse acts as the float plane shelter on main government dock in Ganges Harbour.
