Spring temperatures and moisture have led to what seems to me to be astounding new growth this year. Everywhere.

This funky bus stop chair lives along the Fulford-Ganges super-highway at Cusheon Lake Road. While I love the whimsical repair job, I’m guessing it wasn’t built or repaired by any of Salt Spring’s well known woodworkers.

The Big Maples in the ‘highlands’ have joined at last, the rest of Salt Spring Island’s trees.
