Thursday at Centennial Park, blue sky, pink cherry blossoms starting, and daffodils standing tall. Happy Spring!

Semi-snow day yesterday up here in the highlands. It was kind of hard to focus on the serious work stuff, but once the had-to-do was done, I went looking for a distraction. And this is the result.
I had seen something like it a while back and thought I’d give it a try. Somewhat successful and only one Humpty-Dumpty/omelette moment.
How is this a Salt Spring photo? This free range egg model was obtained from a neighbour.

The old tree on Channel Ridge Farm at the beginning of the-big-melt.
With a high of ten degrees Friday and rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday, you just know this scene isn’t going to last.
Looks someone was here before me. Probably someone with boots and, I bet, a camera.

A terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Some days are like that, even on Salt Spring.
