Finding it hard to stuff another piece of paper in the job jar.
Probably should slap some paint on her as I’m thinking about listing. Cause I hear real estate activity’s pickin’ up.

In an out-of-nowhere move, Parks and Recreation (PARC) will announce today a series of trial fundraisers for 2011. The surprise announcement was turning heads this morning in Ganges and, as usual on Salt Spring, was met with opinions strongly for or against the idea.
While details are predictably sketchy at this point, we do know that the “curves” along North End Road will be closed to traffic and used as a high speed water park for vehicles. Driver’s will pay $10 for the one minute ride. Water for the new park will be donated by the Highlands Water System.
The full list of fundraisers is expected to be officially announced by PARC later today. Island residents are invited to bring their questions and cushions to the tennis courts at noon. No cameras will be permitted.

Looking down from a little bridge in a Salt Spring forest. That’s the same water the dinosaurs drank; there’s no new water. I’m getting mine from a tap at North Saltspring Waterworks. They’re borrowing it from Mount Maxwell Lake.

I pass this Salt Spring driveway sign every day. I think perhaps the person is either from the Congo or from China. Or maybe both. But perhaps I’m missing something.
Thanks for visiting. See you Monday!
