Once again at Fernwood, this time for a foggy February sunrise.
Turn around and look towards Wallace Island:


With sod and raindrops flying, time stops for 1/1000 of a second. The Salt Spring player on the left is about to drive the ball into the empty Saanich net. Meanwhile we get to see the reaction of the defensive player.

This year’s favourite Salt Spring subject. Splendid on a still February daybreak.

Yesterday marked three years of Salt Spring Photos. Some people do silly things on their birthday, so I thought I’d join them. This photo looks odd because it’s upside down.
Those of you with laptops and iPads are smugly turing your screens, the rest of us are testing our necks.
