The Gulf Islands Secondary Music Program was at ArtSpring Theatre yesterday for a tech/dress rehearsal.
The place was packed with talent. The student above has a most incredible voice and seems completely comfortable moving from instrument to instrument.
Tonight they’ll wow a sold out audience.
A Ganges shed that I pass by regularly.
This door, lock and knob are beginning to show some character.
Would it be better to scrape off the old paint, paint and install new hardware? Or not?

The is the fast thinking Gulf Islands Secondary Improv Team. They’ve got a show coming up at ArtSpring Theatre this Wednesday called Home for the Holidays. The audience will be treated to the usual hilarity, but this time with appearances from Improv Past, Improv Present, and Improv Future :-)
By the way the team jean jacket—hey they’re not a motorcycle gang—says WENN SCHON DENN SCHON. Which I believe translates to something like: go all out, or go whole hog.
