The SD64 Gulf Islands Maintenance Centre after everyone’s gone home for the day.

This puppy was carefully cuddled in a warm coat while his master stopped into the library.

Part of Paul Burke’s hand carved and painted wood installation in the Salt Spring Island Public Library. Visitors see this and the other parts of the installation from below, looking up from the main floor. This is a different perspective, seen bathed in light from the mezzanine where the library’s work takes place.
