Salt Spring has a reputation as a haven for artistic folk so it seems only natural that the SD64 maintenance staff would come up with another clever sculpture!
Wandering around in downtown Ganges, I came upon this seemingly powerful plant. This is the back roof of the funky little Café Talia on Herford Street.
That’s Larry Lindell at 5:20 am on a foggy morning on the north end of Salt Spring Island. Larry’s a photographer from West Des Moines, Iowa. Things at home are wider, flatter and not as foggy or salty.
Have a closer look at this photo of Ganges taken from about 1000 ft. What do you notice?

It must be a sunny Saturday because market tents are visible and there are people all over the grass and playground in Centennial Park.
There’s a decent SE breeze coming straight into the harbour. You can see a flag on the anchored tug flapping.
