This is exactly what the sunrise looks like on a foggy fall Salt Spring morning.

I find myself thanking Mother Nature for many October mornings like this in 2013.
The sun is a couple of minutes from rising—just to the right of Mount Baker.


Many rocky beaches on Salt Spring are fairly flat and make for great low-tide exploring. This one, on the west side of the island, is shown at sunset.
