Another great soccer shot, you get so many. I suspect that comes from going to a lot of games!
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that the higher the player’s skill level, and the higher the game intensity, the easier it is to capture compelling photos. Understanding the sport and being able to anticipate what will happen next certainly help. I started shooting sports for magazines in 1974. And I’ve got to say, today’s auto-focus, 10 frames/sec, high ISO with low noise, digital cameras certainly allow for better captures.
