Cusheon’s Frozen

Frozen Salt Spring Lake 2012

Well, it was frozen Friday morning. But it seems our three day winter may be over.

Cusheon Lake, located on central Salt Spring Island, does freeze some years. And has been the site of a few multi-day hockey games. Kind of a show-up-and-play type game.

The saltspringphoto of the day is not normally delivered on weekends, but there are lots of snow photos just going to waste. Tune in tomorrow for another.

Nice! – I’m not a snow lover, I stayed indoors for most of the little bit we got here.

You gotta like the winter clouds. Looks nice and cold.

Oh yeah. Kind of desolate with a hint around the left edge of warmer weather to come.
