Forty respected Salt Spring artists were invited to participate in the third Fine Arts Signature Showcase, held at ArtSpring. Each artist created a single new work for the show.
Bruce Pearson’s Malena above shows intricate detail in a sterling silver bracelet. The bracelet was displayed on a yellow cedar sculpture and housed in a glass container.
At the other end of the scale, gallery visitors contemplate this enormous combination piece by the Venters.
Hi John, thank you for the photo and mention of my Tango bracelet, which is actually titled “Malena”, which is a very famous and favourite Tango song; the music which is engraved and to which they are dancing. The work is currently still on display in Gallery8 in Ganges, and in October will be in the Sidney Fine Art Show
