Monster at Grace Islet, Salt Spring

This is a rare sighting of the underwater creature that frequents the Grace Islet area.

A long exposure (32 seconds) gave the waves a soft, creamy look.

No problem. So you’re not buying the underwater creature?

You are in Ganges at Grace Point, looking down at the ocean from about 8 feet. It’s high tide. The rocks in the foreground are on the Salt Spring shoreline. The ‘creature’ is a rock that is high and dry in most tides. Out of the frame above would be Grace Islet.

I’d wondered what it might be. Thanks for the answer!

You’re welcome. Perhaps I gave it away to early…
