This vessel shuttles people from the head of the harbour (Saltspring Marina, Hastings House, Harbour House, Harbour’s End Marine, Moby’s Pub, etc.) to the dock downtown near the float planes, Coast Guard, and downtown shopping.
Underway and in no hurry. This ain’t the mainland you know.
it’s a mini mainland
Hi my name is Lesley Cheeseman and I have been the manager at Salt Spring Marina for over 20 years. We own the”Queen of de Nile” for many years. I hire young students to work for the Marina. Hopefully they have not had a job before so I can teach them good work ethics. They learn to have fun and do many tasks. Most of them have worked for me for 3-6 years.It is a great job and they learn a lot. Thanks for the pictures of Rae. It is her first year with us and probably not her last.The ferry is electric and was once from Granville Island.
