Thanks Natascha! Had two emails saying the same pretty much the same thing; it’s been a good day.
No HDR (High Dynamic Range) techniques were used
In fact, this image wasn’t even shot with a DSLR camera or a tripod, or shot at a RAW file. It was shot as a single with a mirrorless camera, the tiny Fujifilm X E-1, handheld (1/320 sec ISO 200, 55mm (85mm equivalent)) as a JPEG. With almost no post-processing.
