High jump at Crankworx after the sun is gone

Cycling can be an extreme sport, that’s for sure. This shot was taken just as the sun went down behind summer clouds. The rider, coming off a huge jump and heading downhill landed safely from 35 feet up…somehow.

      Thanks, it’s a favourite. Actually, I was in a safe spot, on the downhill side of a large box/platform jump. The box behind me provided lots of protection. The trick was listening for the bike to land on the box and being ready for the rider to appear in the sky.
