Milau Bulker

July 12, 2012

milau bulker in crofton
The Milau Bulker is a box-shaped log bulk carrier, built in 2012 and caries the Singapore flag. She’s 586 feet long with a 100 foot beam. It seems she came to Crofton from Shanghai and is now headed for Taicang, China.

I saw her loading while travelling on the Howe Sound Queen from Vesuvius on Salt Spring Island to Crofton on Vancouver Island.

Logs for export, argh! – don’t wind me up so early in a day! Though I’d have taken the picture also. :)

Morning Paul, some of us older guys need some waking up in the morning! (but I know what you mean). This is what I woke up to this morning; an awesome start to a summer day: http://a.yfrog.com/img863/4958/v5jps.jpg
