That’s neat! Two weeks? Here they only get a week, and that’s done with this weekend.
Years ago the Gulf Islands School District adopted a 4 day week, longer days but four days per week (cost saving). And scheduled a 2 week break this time of year. So far both, while arguably a bit harder for the youngest students, have been a success. I rarely hear anyone wanting to go back.
