Once loved, now abandoned. This Salt Spring dwelling is tucked away in the trees on the north end of the Island.

One of my favourites of all the photos you’ve shared with us. I have a fascination with abandoned places. Such stories they silently keep! Your sky shots are spectacular, but this one really packs an emotional punch. Thanks again for making each day a little richer for those who subscribe to your daily photo, John.

Your welcome Silk. I agree there are lots of stories in abandoned places. Even when we don’t know the stories, the place itself still fascinates.
