      It was a great scene. And today we have the fun of snow coming down. The snow may be mixed with rain at sea level, but up here the wood stove, coffee and Olympics are on. Trying hard to pretend it’s a SNOW DAY!

      p.s. how many float planes are in the photo?

    Honest to Gosh, John, your photos are stunning! I see 2 planes. Are there more? From where did you take this photo?
    I am at sea level and it is kind of snowing here – big, juicy wet flakes. Bet it is glorious up on the mountain by the fire. Cheers, Tamar

      Two planes, right you are. It’s officially a snow day here. We couldn’t possibly go anywhere :)
