Photographs of Salt Spring Island and areas reachable by ferry and road (and sometimes off-road).
As we leave this ‘Arctic Blast’ and return to seasonally soggy weather, Salt Spring Photos will continue to present some cold weather images this week.
Gorgeous and intriguing! Especially like the gold in the bottom left-hand corner. I’ve been to that property twice and never saw the lake. Must mean I’ll have to go back. Happy Monday, John.
I think the gold is coming from the rocks and sand on the lake bottom. So we’re seeing colour from the lake bottom and from the mix of white cloud and blue sky above.
I kept sharpening to a minimum as I liked the ‘liquid metal’ look of the raised sections of the ice.
