This reminds me of the B&B we stayed at on Saltspring way back in 1995. A beautiful home full of art, great hosts, and the pond rang with the croak of frogs. I remember my friend told me it was a promising sound because the frogs were becoming endangered.
I’ve heard that too and I hope that’s not the case.
There are two ponds within half a mile of us and it’s hard to hear anything at all over their morning and evening chorus.
