John..I have admired your work over the years..what a lovely sunset at Fernwood Rd., I loved this spot having lived ten years on Saltspring and was further North on North Beach road..am an Artist/Photographer now living back in the Comox Valley…and was just reviewing an older article re your photos of the fairy doors on Mt. Erskine.. I tried to bring up the photos I had re your site..but it was unavailable..could I possibly have a link, please.. One day I will re-hike the trail to see the fairy doors..only started a small way up..with my family but had time concerns to watch re their B.C. ferries’ schedule..
Alas, time moves on and that old post was left behind when johncameron.ca went through a major cull and update.
Here on SaltSpringPhotos.com there was a recent post on hiking Mount Erskine
(frankly, and readers—correct me if I’m wrong—but some of the fairies have not kept up with home maintenance—they may not be everything you hoped for.)
