Tides Out

August 20, 2013

Rocks at Fernwood Beach, Salt Spring Island

The rocks appear at low tide,  Fernwood Beach

Just a brief moment of light illuminates the rocks and casts long sunrise shadows. Then it was gone.

Thanks Hilda. Sometimes I think it’s the views we see each day—the views that become so common place—are the ones that are hardest to ‘see’.

Beautiful. Maybe when you’re in the mood sometime, if ever, you could take a photo standing at the end of the dock, looking back, because I used to do that all the time in person, stand there I mean doing that, and for some weird reason, in spite of all my own photos of the Fernwood Dock, I don’t have that viewpoint. I’m giving you a web assignment! (just kidding). Thanks John.

Instant service. Nice take on it. Plus the turnaround time is very impressive.

Well, this is a service industry :-)
Looks like you were living the high life in Steveston for a bit. Must have been fun living on the water.
