Feast your eyes on the route Velo Village cyclists will take from Fulford Harbour to Ganges.
The cyclists, 400 strong, will travel from Swartz Bay to Fulford on BC Ferries first bike-only ferry on Saturday, June 23rd at 10 am. Leaving the bike ferry, they will take part in a fun ride along Stewart and Beddis Roads to Ganges. (route map)
Local artists have decorated a great many bikes for the event. Most are in the Ganges core; the rest can be found along the three routes from the BC Ferry terminals to Ganges (Fulford, Vesuvius, and Long Harbour).

We get the BC Bike Race here again on July 3 – 450 strong last year. So neat to see that many bikes together!
Agreed, a race must be fun. I’m pretty sure that the Velo riders will spread out quickly, starting with the first hill. It’s not the Alps, but there sure are a lot of hills on this rock.
