West Coast Shoreline near Port Renfrew, BC
It’s possible to have a great day trip to the ‘real’ west coast by catching an early morning ferry from Vesuvius and returning to Salt Spring Island in time for dinner. It’s an interesting drive (paved all the way) and there are some great beaches to explore (at low tide).
Very dramatic in black and white!
I like in colour too; the rocks and shoreline are pretty much black and white anyway but the treelike is a band of green at the top of the image.
I like the detail in black and white better—typical Leica M on a tripod goodness. Would make a stunning large print (though that can’t been seen on screen!).
