There are quite a few places to buy fresh bread on Salt Spring Island, some in bakeries/cafés but some right from the bakers. This photo was taken at the Salt Spring Saturday Market.

The 152 foot After Eight seems to be in a no-parking zone in Ganges.
Rumour has it after having eight children, Don Wheaton bought the first 118 foot After Eight which, I think was dark green, then later upgraded…

This young woman seems to be a bit unhappy to be behind bars. She’s actually found a shady spot on the steps of Mouat’s Clothing while people watching towards the Tree House and the Harbour.

The French acrobats Franck Rabilier and Delphine Lechifflart aboard the 37 foot La Loupiote entertain a boardwalk crowd in Ganges. Seven years into their world wide tour, the pair began and ended the BC segment on Salt Spring Island. They’re now en route to Port Townsend, the southern US coast and beyond.
