This young woman seems to be a bit unhappy to be behind bars. She’s actually found a shady spot on the steps of Mouat’s Clothing while people watching towards the Tree House and the Harbour.

The French acrobats Franck Rabilier and Delphine Lechifflart aboard the 37 foot La Loupiote entertain a boardwalk crowd in Ganges. Seven years into their world wide tour, the pair began and ended the BC segment on Salt Spring Island. They’re now en route to Port Townsend, the southern US coast and beyond.

This little one could receive but not send messages to Dad across the playground in Centennial Park in Ganges.

Apparently the August moon made it hard to see this year’s Perseid Meter Shower. Seen on a clear night away from the bright lights of the city, the detail is surprising.
