Fishing on St. Mary Lake in the pouring rain. The absence of NHL games has led to all kind of alternative activities.

This man is reading Lee Child’s Affair, on a bench protected from the rain, outside Mouat’s Home Hardware.

The bench honours Tom Shelby, Coast Guard seaman, who lost his life January 20, 1989 assisting a tug in stormy seas off the north coast of Vancouver Island.
