Dressed in Earth Day blue and green, this little one drifted away from the big group of beach cleaners. She seems to be completely absorbed examining a piece of green glass and is oblivious to her peers.
(I’m sure that if I managed to get my leg in that position, I wouldn’t be getting up without help!)

You may have noticed I’ve filed this photo under the ‘Daytrip’ category. Because we live on an island, many of us make a number of ‘day trips’ off the island. And it’s time to acknowledge that here on the Salt Spring Island daily photo website.
By the way, a quick way to search the four years of photos is by category. No need to use the search box on the top right of the page if you already know the photo category you’re looking for.
For example, clicking below the photo on the red word ‘Daytrip’ will find all the photos filed under the ‘Daytrip’ category; in this case only one. It was taken on a day trip to the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. To the recently rebuilt Kinsol Trestle. Recommended.
