The late day sun illuminates layers of colour and texture on a Salt Spring field. A thin strip of hay has escaped the mower’s wrath.

Some vendors were still setting up but lots of early birds were already getting the pick of the Market.

For those of you who get the Salt Spring Photo of the Day updates delivered by email, you may have noticed there was no mail Friday morning. Apparently there was a huge Internet issue with a 70% increase in internet ‘attacks’ early yesterday. Many large hosting companies were affected.
