Before the rain.
Cars parking in Ganges had leaves tumble down and smack them within seconds. I didn’t stay long enough to find out, but I’m guessing the owner of this shiny black car carefully removed the fallen leaves before driving away.

On a recent day trip to Vancouver Island, I had a choice of wandering around the mural town of Chemainus or sitting an extra half-hour in the ferry line at Crofton. I sometimes have trouble with decisions, but this one was easy.
I particularly like the way the flat, late day light helped these two murals blend in with the three dimensional world.

Happy Halloween.
Two thoughts:

Fully engaged in the Fernwood School library.
Photographs of Salt Spring Island and areas reachable by ferry and road (and sometimes off-road).
