What a glorious shot. Dave’s sage reaction was “He must not sleep in.”
Starting our days reveling in your photography and in the way you see the world has made our lives so much richer. What a gift you have given to so many people. We are very grateful.

What a lovely comment, thank you Beth and Dave.
Quite a handsome fellow. You’ve captured this shot beautifully.
Thank you! I was surprised to see many, many more sea birds here in the winter than in the summer. The Buffleheads are somewhat wary so you have to be patient for this kind of shot.
So lovely. Definitely shows up better in the big size on the web. But, tell the truth, John. You just wanted to say the word Bufflehead.:-)
Bufflehead, Bufflehead, Bufflehead… Yup, that’s fun. Cool looking duck too.
