Forgotten on the roadside. Here for a good time, not a long time.

Semi-snow day yesterday up here in the highlands. It was kind of hard to focus on the serious work stuff, but once the had-to-do was done, I went looking for a distraction. And this is the result.
I had seen something like it a while back and thought I’d give it a try. Somewhat successful and only one Humpty-Dumpty/omelette moment.
How is this a Salt Spring photo? This free range egg model was obtained from a neighbour.

7:30 am: Sunrise in Ganges Harbour
Salt Spring Air’s Maple Bay to Ganges flight arrives at Ganges Harbour just as a low cloud and fog develop.
Makes for a gorgeous west coast moment.

Reuse/Recyle: Salt Spring style
Quite often creative Salt Spring artwork comes through my photo studio. Thought you might like to have a peek at this one, a commissioned piece by Peter McFarlane. It stopped in for a portrait session on its way to a well known museum in eastern Canada.

The old tree on Channel Ridge Farm at the beginning of the-big-melt.
With a high of ten degrees Friday and rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday, you just know this scene isn’t going to last.
Looks someone was here before me. Probably someone with boots and, I bet, a camera.
Photographs of Salt Spring Island and areas reachable by ferry and road (and sometimes off-road).
