Roadside Close-up

Roadside Close-up

Another morning dog-walk photo; one of the good things about having a dog. You get out there every day, even rainy days, and look around for a new photograph in a place you think you know.

Back in June 2011, I posted backyard photos for a week. Good exercise for those who take pictures. That’s everyone, right?

(I read somewhere that half the photos ever taken were taken in 2012.)

Soccer Dog

One of the big activities on Salt Spring on the May long weekend is always the Challenge Cup Soccer Tournament. This guy, apparently a rescue dog from New Delhi, India loves to be at the games and loves to try to chase motorcycles going by.

He seemed happy enough to have his portrait captured.

Tiny Orchid at Mount Maxwell

May 16, 2013

Mountain Orchid

This tiny Orchid, and hundreds more are scattered along the trails at Mount Maxwell. The are tiny, about 3 to 4 cm tall.

Three Bite Ice Cream Cone

May 14, 2013

Classic Dog in a Classic Mercedes

This classic dog, co-pilot of a classic Mercedes with collector plates, was seen recently in Ganges. ‘Buddy’ is a very focused canine. His attention did not waver for a second. And when Buddy’s best friend arrived on the scene, the reason was clear:

Three Bite Ice Cream

The ice cream went in one bite; the cone took two more. Gone in three seconds.

*Olivia and Bubba: this post’s for you.
