Elaborate and creative Christmas window display at Mouat’s Clothing, Ganges.

This photo sort of snowballed.
First there was one student playing hopscotch. And she was putting a lot into it; good photo opportunity I thought.
And this is the result after less than one minute.
No prompting was offered, no invitation to join was offered. They just took over.

In the Saltspring Island Middle School woodwork shop.
This grade eight student is checking the progress of her bevel. It looks like she’s set the plane down on the blade, but it’s just the angle of the shot. The heel of the plane is down, but not the blade. I noticed she would plane a few strokes then lean over quickly for a close look before continuing.
