2:45 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon in Ganges, on Salt Spring Island.

Salt Spring artist, Peter McFarlane’s circuit board horses stampede across the screen. They’re heading to their new home at a museum on the other side of Canada.
The Salt Spring Stingrays Swim Team hosted an open water competition at St. Mary Lake and a swim meet at Rainbow Road Pool this weekend. Everyone from coaches (above) to 6 year olds (below) were involved. And there seemed to be an excellent turnout with hundreds of tents pitched on the pool grounds.

There were people out enjoying the fabulous summer weather on the shell beach at Chocolate Island (Third Sister Island). In the background, a spectacular view of the islands and the snow on Mount Baker.
