Morning after morning: this summer, this view.

Here’s a look at the newly installed roof on ArtSpring (Salt Spring’s Centre for the Arts).
Apparently this is a recycled-rubber-tire-shake-roof which keeps about 600 tires out of the landfill and has a 50 year guarantee. Good roofing choice?

11:am at Salt Spring Coffee, AKA: Roasters, AKA: Roasting Co, AKA: Salt Spring Roasting Company
Morning routine with laté, iPad and a great spot for people watching though the big open air counter.

A poodle seen sitting in the driver seat outside the Ganges Post Office.

9:15 pm Poets Cove at Bedwell Harbour, South Pender Island
Leaving Pender and heading back to Salt Spring; about 30 minutes on a quick boat in calm seas.
(You may have noticed I’ve filed this photo under the ‘Daytrip’ category. Because we live on an island, many of us make a number of ‘day trips’ off the island. And it’s time to acknowledge that again here on the Salt Spring Island daily photo website.)
Photographs of Salt Spring Island and areas reachable by ferry and road (and sometimes off-road).
