There was a big crowd at this week’s Tuesday Farmer’s Market. Kelsey was greeting people with samples at the Foxglove Farm stand. The check-out line-up at this stand easily rivalled Thrifty Foods on a Friday afternoon.

Lots of controversy around these parts over “Smart Meters”. Among other things, smart meters communicate back to the mothership.

Preparing to cast off
This vessel shuttles people from the head of the harbour (Saltspring Marina, Hastings House, Harbour House, Harbour’s End Marine, Moby’s Pub, etc.) to the dock downtown near the float planes, Coast Guard, and downtown shopping.

Underway and in no hurry. This ain’t the mainland you know.

It’s always interesting people watching on the boardwalk in downtown Ganges. You just never know when you might see The Stinky Pond Cafe t-shirt.
