Above, the gorgeous eagle with the upswept wings and the strong diagonal composition (eagle’s work, not mine) is an obvious choice I think.

A glorious sunrise today over the southern Gulf Islands. The Skeena Queen is seen chugging along from Fulford Harbour on Salt Spring to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island (the ferry is about to pass between Piers and Knapp Islands).
Surface fog appears this time of year in Ganges Harbour as the temperature drops. This Saltspring Air pilot knows it’s clear flying over Georgia Strait to Vancouver.
